Samuel Miller opens Trumbull Plumbing Supply, a wholesale plumbing distributor serving local contractors.
A NEW GENERATION
1950
Milton and David Miller take over management and begin expanding the company's reach.
YOUNGSTOWN
1957
Operations move to a new headquarters building in Youngstown, Ohio.
GROWTH BY ACQUISITION
1962
Brown Pump & Electric and Moody Pump & Supply join the company - opening Trumbull's first Pennsylvania branch.
THE FIRST WAREHOUSE
1971
A central warehouse opens in Warren, and the company begins running two shifts to keep up with demand.
INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY IS BORN
1972
The Industrial Supply Division launches and an Akron branch opens. The company is renamed Trumbull Supply.
INTO PENNSYLVANIA
1980
The Cabinet & Appliance Division moves to Youngstown and the Erie, PA branch opens.
TRUMBULL INDUSTRIES
1986
The company launches its own product line and becomes Trumbull Industries - the name it carries today.

Murray, Sam H., Sam M., and Ken Miller step into day-to-day leadership.
HOME TO WARREN, A CENTURY IN THE TRADE
1990 - TODAY
The purchase of the former Van Huffel Tube plant returns corporate headquarters to Warren, Ohio. Third-generation, family-owned, supplying the trade and the finest homes across Ohio and Pennsylvania — with its own brands including Transolid, Top Shelf, and Samuel Müeller.
